Blockchain & Sustainability

The regulatory and technical landscape for crypto assets is constantly evolving and has experienced major developments since the publication of the Bitcoin whitepaper in 2008. Nevertheless, crypto assets in Germany and Europe have already reached a stage where they can be seen as a coherent and stand-alone area of finance, which has profound financial and political implications: Crypto assets form their own token-based economy and lifecycle and establish both cash and assets “on chain” as part of the financial and real-world markets. This stage will provide a clear and convincing update and assessment on the status of crypto assets from both a technical, economic, and legal perspective.
