Financial markets have been primarily affected by the launch of the taxonomy, threatened by the accelerating climate, and put under pressure due to geopolitical uncertainty. With war in Europe, global unrest and political landscapes undergoing massive changes, it is now time to channel powers towards elevating sustainability efforts, for future generations to come. The financial sector plays one of the most important roles since it acts as global enabler for the transformation of the industry. Inflation, the ECB-interest adjustments, a need for specialists in the field of sustainable finance and the development of reporting standards are only a few of many examples which will shape our financial industry in the coming years and will be the key influencer for the financing of sustainable transformation efforts.
